The effectiveness of cinnamon on the soles of the feet was already known in Asia and Egypt before the birth of Christ. Even then, shoes made from the wood of the cinnamon tree were worn. This pair of cinnamon slippers was made in Asia from natural materials according to ancient tradition. The upper is made of soft cotton and embroidered with ancient Asian patterns. The glittering lurex threads create a visual highlight. The wide strap of the cinnamon slippers ensures a good grip. The narrow strap fits comfortably over the toes without constricting or irritating them. Depending on the size, approx. 30 - 40 grams of cinnamon powder are sewn into the sole of the cinnamon slippers. The effect of the cinnamon powder is intensified by the acupressure points on the sole of the foot. Blood circulation is improved and the temperature of the feet is regulated. This makes cinnamon slippers a very good aid against cold and aching feet. However, the property of cinnamon to absorb unpleasant odours should be emphasised. This means that perspiration odours don't stand a chance. Thanks to these many positive properties, cinnamon slippers improve general well-being.
